Mia is an urban planner and project manager with over a decade of experience at the intersection of urban planning and design, public health, and education. Her work focuses on active transportation, safety, Vision Zero, Safe Routes to School, and trails and greenways. Mia has led active transportation planning and implementation projects for communities of all sizes throughout the U.S. and Canada, from large urban centers like San Fransisco, to small, rural, and communities in the central valley. Mia is currently the consultant project manager for the Fresno Vision Zero Action Plan, in collaboration with the City of Fresno. She is also working on the Fresno Active Transportation Plan and the Fresno Unified Safe Routes for Students project.
